Hi there - we have three dogs and would love an outdoor shower for the van, or for getting the sand of our feet when we all get back from the beach. Does anyone have one of these? What I dont understand is that the shower kit seems to be the same fitting as the water intake . And of course the water intake takes water into the caravan whereas the shower should really take it out!
Does anyone have a clue? Any replies much appreciated.
Christine
We used to pop the shower head out of the toilet compartment window and do all that stuff outside at the side of the van ...... if the hose is too short get a longer one. and no special kit required.

We have got a baby caravan that has a drop down door in the shower room that you can also put in your wet clothing or awning from the outside. Who needs a big caravan!! P.S we just need a dog to shower
1 portable jetwasher from go outdoors, its manuel pump just fill with warm water. Doesn't give a fast flow but fine for washing the dog down which is what I use it for, I have also used it as an outdoor shower for myself.
2 buy a 12v portable shower, only about £15, you need a bucket of warm water and it works just like any other shower, I have one also.
I set my shower up in the awning and use a in cheap kids inflatable splash pool as a shower tray. When I'm finished I simply empty it outside.
I hate using site showers, even good ones and my shower in the van is too small.
We have the truma shower kit as mentioned. If I remember correctly you need to buy a plastic blue connection piece that you fit inside the van to the water inlet. Press the lever on the shower head and you have a cold water shower!
Our dog loves swimming in cold rivers and seas but will not entertain being sprayed by a cold shower or hose pipe.
The shower is fed from your aquaroll, so you could pour some hot water into this to provide a warmer shower.
Overall another expensive caravan accessory, which I never use that takes up space in the vans front locker.
A long shower hose fixed to the vans shower and fed through the bathroom window would certainly be more practical and cheaper.
You can buy solar powered showers that work quite well not great pressure more a rinse but heat up to 23c/78f.
Just hang on awning rail for 1/2hr in sun.
