hi all I am rather new to this towing thing .my car already had a tow bar fitted with one black socket but my camper has black and grey plugs having asked at a local tow bar fitters they have told me it will cost 60 -80 pounds to fit the extra socket is there a cheaper alternative and do i really nead the grey plug.thanks waiting in anticipation

If you want to run fridge and charge caravan battery while towing then you need to have the extra socket wired in at stated cost. If you can do without that then caravan road lights will work from your existing socket so ok to tow.
