We have an adria and the bunks are great. Good width and comfy. My 17 year sleeps in the middle of the triple bunks when he comes with us.

Yep the length and width of bunks is great. On triple model versions headroom obviously is restricted

For £4k I think you will struggle with much choice if narrowing down to early/mid 2000's Adrias

Interestingly second hand prices on more recent Adrias have actually gone up over past few years as their popularity has grown..

Looking at prices I could expect to get same or even more than what I paid nearly 2 1/2 years ago for our 2011 Altea

Mainly due to the shortage of them and their increasing popularity and indeed increase in new list prices of Adrias

Agree about the bunks, they're the same in Knaus van.

Boss's van has fixed bunks - he's 6'4" and still has a few inches spare when lying in his.

And I think they're 'stronger' built too...

We looked at UK van bunks out of curiosity for when we change our van, and we thought they were (1) TINY!!!

And (2), flimsy!

Its the bunks that swing it for me. There's a few in my price range with fixed double beds so I do think the price is reasonable the alteas are pretty basic layout And were cheap. I ll just keep an eye out I suppose....

sorry for slow reply. Venture caravan one looks good, but I doesn't look like it has fixed bunks. The adiva would be perfect, but too heavy. Proves there are some about though.

maybe I'm too fussy saw a perfectly good swift about 10 miles from me on gumtree, but I'm in no rush. (Except now I've made my mind up I want one NOW)

That wheelchair adapted Adria's been on eBay a while now...

Remember seeing it ages ago when we started 'thinking about looking'....

I got mine from Jeff Cox's at Denby Derbyshire who is Ford main agent but sells all Adria Models of motor home and caravan, saved £1699 on 2014 model last FEB no part ex and delivered to site of my choice on 1st March free of charge. Till I took delivery of my VW 4x4 Tiguan week after.

So turns out eBay item: 141706691159 that AndyFisher posted was 200 yards from my house, down the road on a farm. So went to have a look at the adria,(just a look though) my son loved it. Too expensive mind, any way ended up going back with the wife, and after a lot of questions, the dealer agreed to sell for £6000 including awning and locks and water things, and loads off stuff, so I've just put a deposit down on an Adria !

Anyone want to buy a tent?
