I think you will find it actually works out the same or even cheaper that washing powder using the likes of Fenwicks.
You only use a capful or two at most ( and the cap is tiny), so not posh or arguably more expensive

Yes but we should all have washing powder in the house already lol
So saves buying anything else. But i do use Fenwickes window scatch remover

Not sure if Washing powder would be the same as Washing up liquid for dishes which can dull the paint work over time.
Unless they have changed the ingredients.

I use Silky at start of season followed by MER detailer on my van, brings it up a treat
Then once a month carnauba car wash from aldi.
