i don't ant to labour the point but i have a red bottle of gas and my understating is is that all i need is a pigtail connector to connect as i have a regulator built in. Is this right? Does anyone of you nice chaps or ladies have an image of the is connector or a link as to where i can obtain one? I also assume to valve on the french gas comes with the bottles?
If you have a permanently fitted bulkhead regulator, the pigtail (or adaptor) must fit the specific cylinder.
I think you'll find the gas in Campingaz refillable cylinders (R 901/904/907) is straight butane. (Some Campingaz cartridges may contain the mix).
Either way, though, your bulkhead regulator will work with either butane or propane, so you only need worry about the connection/pigtail between cylinder and regulator.
Something like this - adaptor screws into CG 907 etc (clockwise) and pigtail screws onto adaptor anticlockwise.
You'll need a butane pigtail and an adaptor for camping gaz ( it is a mix of both propane and butane even in this country)
You can use the same butane pigtail without the adaptor on the blue calor bottles
You need the pigtail mentioned above for propane ( red bottles)
All will run through the bulk head regulators with no issues
Any caravan dealer should have all options for about 15-20 notes
