Ive just got a Bailey ranger And it's got a craver crystal system but the pump won't stop running is this normal for the water pump to keep running all the time thanks for any help

When we had our Ranger there was an adjustable white pressure switch near the water heater.Adjust this and it should stop.If it does not could be the non return valve leaking.Have you opened all taps including shower to make sure water comes through and there is no air in the system.

Most likely will be the pressure switch needs adjusting.

Thanks for help when I connect the water pump to van water comes back at me is they some where in van to turn it off are is this to do with pressure switch

Yes pump kicks in soon as I connect it from out side van but water comes back at u till it's connected then pump keeps running am going to try pressure switch next thanks

If adjusting pressure switch , the adjusting screw will need turning anticlockwise

Just had a thought . Have you on your control panel a switch to switch the pump off.Have you made sure this is off each time before connecting pump.The pump then will not run until you switch this back on again.

Ours was a 2009 van and was on control panel which was by the door. If not is there a power on off switch, make sure that is off then connect pump and then put that on again

HI, if its like our ranger the pump switch is the switch that has a red light under it this comes on when pump runs, also if water comes back at you from where it connects to caravan then I suspect its missing the O RING connector or its not pushed fully home as with type of connection its easy to make electrical connection without the seal being made correctly with hose to van joint, you need power off while making this connection then ours locks in place by turning 2 plastic toggles

It could ba a battery problem if the battery is failing to hold a charge and drops below I think it's 10.5 volts then the pump will keep running
