Please help as newish to caravans. Looking to buy an awning and the measurement 'A' for my van is 1032 yet the recommended isabella awning is 1025. Wont this be too small and especially cause me a problem when on uneven ground?
Or am I not reading something right.
At least Dorema say size 16 1025-1050 so that looks like I have a bit of play but I really do like the look of an isabella acrylic awning that I know is for sale.
Can anybody please advise.
TIA
John
From what I can see the 1025 size covers all a measurements from 1011 to 1035.
There will always be a range to and from. You are at the upper level of that range so the awning will fit tightly. If you camp mainly on flat ground I see no problem. If you pitch on slopes then you may chose to go up a size to allow for the slopes. On level ground the next size up may be difficult to tighten. The 1050 size is for a frames 1036 to 1060.

Thanks checkley, yes done that and its says 1025 BUT wont this be too small?
No, it will be just right and give a nice tight fit. The awning is designed to fit rails that are up to 12.5cm either side of the actual, measurement.

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013
