not got one and would not have one,too small for me although i think they look cool.Very pricey for what they are.I thought they were ideal for one person fishing and somewhere to kip.

I have one cost under five hundred, so as cheap or dear as you want. do not make the mistake of compareing to a caravan, I also have a tent and caravan, its a case of right tool for the right job. my teardrop is great behind my classic car, that has limited towing capabilities, but the caravan is best for longer annual hols. if in doubt, you could hire one to try them out, only you will know if its right for you.
------------- VENI VIDI VACATIOUS (I came, I saw, I stayed for an holiday).
I have a couple of friends in the kit car scene who have built them to high standards. Like babygrumpkin states, right tool for the right job.
Fantastic for light weight cars and short holidays though.
We had one years ago, it was our first caravan. It showed us we liked the idea of caravanning and we went on to buy a freedom microlite caravan. The teardrop towed great but we only kept it 6 months, they're cute but not really practical for what we wanted.
Have you had a look at Going Go pods???
Well worth a look!!!
480kg unladen weight and no getting out of the van to make your morning brew as your kitchen in the van!!
Type going go pods into your search!!

Just googled it myself. They look fantastic, almost like a tardis when you see the video. Not sure if you could use an awning but tbh who cares? I'd have one of them in a heartbeat
------------- Who needs travel agents,we have our static
i have had one almost 30 yrs . bought it off a mate . i towed it behind my trike . was a luxury caravan compared to a tent . he bought it off someone else . have taken it all o ver uk and europe . and a trip around morocco behind a vw van . great bits of kit . dont think it will get sold its part of the family now . when the grand kids come they sleep in it in the garden they call it theirs now .
I've got a Go-Pod. Got a Khyam tailgate awning that goes with it, but to be honest prefer to use a tarpaulin and windbreak.
Looked at teardrops but felt too claustrophobic for me and awkward for getting in and out
Dutch couple on this campsite have a modern teardrop and fitted awnings for side and rear that are about 6 times the size of the caravan, looks all top quality stuff.
