We had one years ago, it was our first caravan. It showed us we liked the idea of caravanning and we went on to buy a freedom microlite caravan. The teardrop towed great but we only kept it 6 months, they're cute but not really practical for what we wanted.

Just googled it myself. They look fantastic, almost like a tardis when you see the video. Not sure if you could use an awning but tbh who cares? I'd have one of them in a heartbeat

Going go pod..neat compact van. Possibly could get a rear awning made for it, similar to the ones you get for the back of estate/hatchback cars?
Think it would be ok for short breaks but not sure if I would start to feel a bit claustrophobic after a couple of days.

I've got a Go-Pod. Got a Khyam tailgate awning that goes with it, but to be honest prefer to use a tarpaulin and windbreak.
Looked at teardrops but felt too claustrophobic for me and awkward for getting in and out

Dutch couple on this campsite have a modern teardrop and fitted awnings for side and rear that are about 6 times the size of the caravan, looks all top quality stuff.
