Hi

Can anyone recommend someone to do a couple of jobs on our 1988 abbey lincoln?

They're probably easy jobs to someone in the know but after doing a lot of reading and researching, I'm still none the wiser in how to fix.

The first problem is the toilet (c2 isn't flushing. I've changed the fuse but it looks like a wiring problem maybe as a brown wire is just hanging down inside the outer cassette) and the second job is the water pump. I believe it's an old whale pump. The pump itself we've replaced as it was leaking where it had cracked but the housing itself (the ''hole' for want of a better word, that the pump screws Into has lost it's threads and so the pump doesn't screw into it properly and then we have water leaking down the side of the van.

Can anyone help at all or recommend someone? I don't mind paying to get the jobs done as I'll have peace of mind they're done properly then.

Never used, but there's the Mobile Caravan Doctor at Sprotbrough. Been going for years as I remember seeing his van on the drive (on the main road) when passing through.

Yes I had a similar experience with the mobile doctor I'm afraid. I called the place in carcroft and so far they've been very helpful. Hopefully we'll be sorted next week. Thanks for everyone's help.
