As one who will shortly join your numbers in early October following our purchase of a Lunar van at the Lawns I was wondering if anyone can tell me is there a 12v supply available (fag lighter type) anywhere near the door of the van?
Reason for asking is we use a 12v pump to blow up our air awning and the battery compartment on the Lunar is on the nearside which will mean the lead won't reach to feed the pump to blow up the awning on the offside of the caravan.
Our present Bailey has a 12v supply via a strange looking 2 pin plug just inside the door rated at 10amps which would be sufficient to drive the pump.
Is there such a thing on a Lunar or will I have to chase electrons??
Might depend on which Lunar you have bought, we have a Lunar Clubman SB and there is a 12 volt cig type socket just inside the door. There are also two others in the van.

Surely you want the awning on the nearside of the caravan so I can't see why you would erect the awning on the opposite side.
It's fairly easy to install an extra 12v socket inside near the door or control panel. I'm going to install an extra 12v socket with a USB port for charging phones etc.
I think you will find the 12v sockets in the van aren't a high enough rating for an awning pump. Please check I know mine are only 6 amp in our Bailey. We connect directly to the battery terminals.
