hi,I have just bought a 2008 Stirling and it has a fitment in the front That I was told I will need a pigtail to connect gas,I take it you don't use the regulators any more,?. What would I need also which colour gas ?,thanks
The regulator is now fitted to the caravan, you need a suitable pigtail to suit the gas bottle. Which colour depends on when you are camping. Search for butane and propane, has been covered lots of times in the past.

That is a bulkhead regulator that will run off either propane or butane, you need the relevant pigtail for the bottle you use though as they have different fittings. You need no other regulator. From 2004 all caravans are fitted with a bulkhead regulator.

Propane works all the year round, butane does not work when the weather is freezing and is not very much use at all under temps of 8C. Unless you have some really pressing reason for using Butane ( blue bottles ) propane is a better solution.

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013
