Hi
Due to poor road surfaces in our area, the central glass light shade on our Hymer Nova has fallen off and broken! Have contacted various places including an email to Hymer in Germany (no reply as yet) trying to source one. So, no success yet. Anyone know of any Hymer breakers etc that we might try? Lowdens said we could buy the whole lamp for £85.00 but then told us couldn't get one. The lamp is fine, its just the shade we need. Otherwise will have to buy something and try make fit!

How old is your Hymer?   It might be worth trying a Hymer motor home dealer it might be a common part. In my experience most Hymer parts come from Dometic so it be worth looking in their catalogue.

There is an ebay shop that sells a lot of Hymer parts. Even if you can't see anything listed, you could contact them and ask if they can find one for you. I did this for a gas fitting in our front locker - sent him a photograph and he found the part for us. I think the shop is called HymerUK on ebay.

Worth a try.

We had the same problem with our Hymer Nova 390. We purchased a shade from b and q and it fitted perfectly. It did not have the swirly pattern on but still looked nice.
