If you can afford it - go for a Kampa

Nooooo!
We have a Trigano Air awning and it is great. Dead easy to put up, and unlike many other makes there are no tapes along the floor to get covered in mud and trip over. We've had ours for 2 seasons now, and is certainly more waterproof that the caravan we bought at the same time. Do buy the extra roof poles though, it does make a difference in heavy rain.
We checked ours out, it had a better quality nylon than the Kampa, and the separate tubes were no problem at all, much simpler and no faffy connections to leak. You don't need side wall poles, the awning stays nice and snug against the van wall in all weathers. The small porch thingy over the awning is handy when you return in pouring rain.
... and we saved several hundred pounds over the Kampa.

Go Dorema air all season better than either of these options. Pretty much the only breathable air awning on the market as its made from tencate like a full awning.

I presume from your post above you've had a season or two's use with a Trigano Air to be able to state with authority that your Dorema is better. Mind you at double the price it ought to be very much better. The Dorema is half as heavy again to lug around.
I will say this. Compared to the crappy 2 Baileys and the Crappy Sterling caravans none of which lasted even a year from new without leaking, when we sold our Trigano Silver after 5 years, it was still damp and leak free. Trigano do make decent kit.

Trigano don't even make that awning. It's made in China and has their name stuck on it. You can buy it under many guises.
Give it a year or two when it's knackered and see how easy it is to get parts.
Dorema is made in Europe in their own factory and with their own parts.
Know what I prefer but as you say you pay your money and take your choice.

Ours is nearly 2 years old anyway and far from needing any "parts".
Baileys are made in their own factory and are still crappy. A part for our current model - still in production took 4 months to arrive.

Our Bailey is 2 years old not a stitch wrong. You get good and bad off all.
