I'm told ventilation ventilation ventilation is the answer, but how do you have a through-draught without freezing to death? It's not yet a problem as it's so mild, but I want to prepare for later.
Anyone got any experience with lining the walls with cork? I've tried a thin polystyrene sheet, which is 'warm' to the touch but difficult to fix, and ugly.
If you are getting condensation on the inside of the walls, you may have a problem. There is (should be) over an inch of polystyrene between the outer and inner skins, if the inner skin is cold enough to get condensation, then the polystyrene is no longer insulating, Water logged?

New van has Alde heating and first time out in dry'ish conditions I was surprised that there was absolutely no condensation on the windows despite 2 humanoid bipeds and 2 canine quadrupeds being in the 'van overnight.
This weekend conditions were much wetter and windier (outside the van!) and with the heating on pools of condensation on the window seals.
We had 1 window on vent front middle and centre and the roof vent in the loo vented.
How do we avoid getting damp from this condensation?
Theres no reason that condensation inside caravan should cause damp in the structure any more than rain on the outside should cause damp in the structure. Except if there is a leak, which there should not be.
Air contains moisture. The warmer the air, the more moisture it can hold. Dewpoint is the temperature at which the air can hold no more moisture or has become saturated.
When the temperature falls below the dewpoint, the moisture condenses out of the air and forms condensation.
Relative Humidity or RH is used to describe how much water is being held in the air compared with the maximum it can hold for its temperature. When Relative humidity is 100% the air can hold no more and the temperature is the dewpoint temperature.
So when warm air inside your van comes into contact with surfaces which are colder than the air's dewpoint temperature you will get condensation.
Warming the van will help because it will warm the internal surfaces. Ventilation will exchange the moisture laden air inside for air with less moisture from outside.
The outside air has lost some of its moisture because it has cooled. When you bring it inside it warms and its RH falls.

The Karcher window vac is great for clearing the windows in the morning.
I'd second that. Get the smaller head too if you can, makes it easier to get around the catches. They are also great for clearing water in the shower if you use it.
