Newly fitted unit, worked very well. Went to use it today - the "settings indicator window" (the one at the top) showed red when any of the other controls ws pressed. Unit did not function. I have scoured the supplied manual and cannot find an answer. Can anyone help? Battery shows over 12v in 'van.
Suggest change/ check hand controller battery, was the master switch with the red knob turned on correctly and finally had the 20 minute auto switch off time been exceeded?

Thanks, will check controller battery, switch was definitely on and 20mins was not exceeded. Due to put 'van back in store tonight, so will report! Thank you!
Just one more point, a fully charged 12v battery I recall from other posts should read above 12v, ie 12.7v or something, suggest put yours on charge overnight then all the basis are covered. Just checked the PT manual, it says if the battery voltage reads 12v......then it is discharged, so that is most likely your problem, a flat leisure battery.
OK, all was set up correctly and yes the top indicator is for the speed. However, as was suggested, the 'van battery was discharged. The charge it received on our 30 mile round trip was sufficient to operate the mover - perfectly again. Battery out and to home for a charge. Thanks again to all.

Had an interesting conversation with Powertouch about our Evolution mover.
I thought the handset was mis-programmed in that the caravan does not move in the direction the arrows point.
I rang their Technical advice line and was told this is how its supposed to be. The arrows point to which motor will be engaged and in which direction the motion will be.
In that pushing the arrow pointing forward and right the caravan will actually move forward but left due to the fact that the right motor will be powered up thus pushing the van to the left!
My previous mover was an Enduro and the van went in the direction indicated by the arrow you pressed with the remote held power button at the top pointing away from you.
Its not a great problem as I'll soon get used to the new arrangement and its a cracking mover, very powerful and smooth starting. Just came as a surprise the van didn't do what I expected!
