Hi there,

We've recently bought a chest of drawers with tip top table.

We have a motor-home with rear U-shaped lounge area but missed the convenience of the middle chest of drawers we'd had previously. So we've bought a chest of drawers with flip top table not realising that the table does not simply pull out as wee'd had before.

We really would love to have this chest work but the flip top does not lie flat, opened, because it is prevented by the window, above.

Can anybody advise if there's some way of solving this problem. The only way the flip part can lie flat isby bringing the chest away from the rear wall and we were wondering how others with this type of table manage. Surely there shouldn't be a gap?

We really would appreciate some advice. It's taken us ages to find a chest which matches the existing cabinetry.

We used to have a motorhome and also bought the same type of chest as we missed the table. We fitted it with a small gap behind which we didn't really notice in daily use.
The convenience of having the unit back outweighed the issue of the small gap. Go for it...you won't regret it.
