,you should have a switch which says CAR/VAN set this to VAN.The van should charge if setting up a EHU cable, ?PS check fluid in the battery if not a sealed unit.

All depends on whether you have a newish or an oldish van. Mine is old (in fact, it's vintage!!) and doesn't have an on-board charger, so I use a C-tech charger for my battery.
Even if you have an onboard charger it might not work, so check that it does!

The onboard charger may not fully charge the battery, they charge to around 80% and keep it at a float voltage to limit the amount of water it loses.
Even some so called sealed batteries have the caps on the top, maybe under the label.
Topping up the fluid can see the battery lasting much longer.

caravan chargers are not that efficient the best way to charge it is to remove the battery connect to a charger in the garage/shed if leaving the battery on the floor place some wood underneath it then trickle charge on permanent I use a charger made by Ring the model is smart charge 8 its an excellent product and keeps the battery in tip top order
