I cant get my head around these. Bit of flexy pipe, A coupling,Bit of wire and a micro switch, and a filter housing.£110.If you made your own the filter housing can be made different if the pipe went straight though the floor out of sight. There`s no timer as such, You have to leave the flap open a bit to keep the switch closed.. Think its a wee bit expensive,Folk say dont have to empty the cassette as often and use no chemicals,How does that work?
What are your views on them?

Its not a hangover, its wine flu!
It's a way of living with a purifying loo cassette and be spared the stench while using it.
When the flap is open a computer fan pulls air into the cassette from the bowl so the fumes can't dissipate the opposite way.
It has an activated carbon filter on the fans external vent which for a short time will absorb some of the smell, till is micro pores are filled up.
Keep well away from the emptying point when you see a "Sogger" on route.
My understanding is that it is a method of using a cassette toilet without the need for chemicals. I don't know how long people go before emptying their loo, we usually empty every couple of days. Its unlikely any natural breakdown would take place during that time so emptying it would be even more gross!!!!
they are implying that you will not need to use any chemicals as the SOG unit is designed to eliminate smells BUt it does nothing to breakdown solid waste so you will need chemicals for that
personally I have never had problems with smell from my cassettes
