I know the ins and out of awning sizes and how to measure. BUT my caravan is in storage and I want/need a new awning. I have a Bailey Ranger 550/6 what size shall I buy
A quick search via Google showed two sites giving specifications of your van with an awning size of 976, but I would want to double check that before shelling out for an awning. Can you not get hold of the van handbook, or confirmation from a Bailey dealership that sells awnings. If they think they might be getting a sale they would find out for you.

At a guess a 950 or 975 sounds somewhere right but you need the year of your van to be certain.
Google jeffbowenawnings for their contact details and web site his a great guy in the business loads of knowledge and very competitive too. and if you don't want to stretch to a new one he has a data base on his website of used awnings, these are not his but are from his customers own advertisments he allows them to put on his site to sell themselves. I am not entirely sure why he does that but its very helpful

If you different make awnings could be different sizes. If you've got a particular awning in mind, say dorema or isabella, if you contact them direct with your make and model of van they can tell you exactly what size awning you need. I've spoken to both in the past and have found them both to be very helpful
