Why not? As long as everyone behaves themselves, I wouldn't be prejudiced against anyone. There were French gypsies on the site we stopped in Spain no bother. Oh and some were living in caravans there too.

Campsites are licenced for leisure use. Going to school or work isn't usually a leisure activity so would contravene the sites licence, so they could be fined or closed down. People do use campsites when working away, some turn a blind eye, or just assume people go out for the day sight seeing.
