Been away twice in our 400-2 now and all seems to be good. The MTPLM is 1150kg confirmed by Bailey. If you email them you always get a very prompt and good answer.
Very pleased we went for the 400-2. It has a lot of living space and making the beds up is no real problem. We use it as singles with sleeping bags. It doesn't feel cramped at all.
Towing is unbelievable with not a hint of a twitch. But here's the problem. Is the hitch damper and alko trailer control all working overtime to keep my really badly loaded, badly matched outfit on the straight and narrow or is all well. I really don't know and would like to be able to switch it all off some time just to see what it's really like.
The kitchen works well, the lift up flap helps a lot. Bathroom is brilliant. Heating really good even in freezing temperatures. Solar panel keeping the battery charged even in winter.
Navver, as you are the only one on here that we know for sure also has a Pursuit Platinum, could you tell us what is on your CRIS document? As ours has come back registered as a Pursuit Plus.
Tina
Strange, I don't seem to have a CRIS document. I don't think we had one when we collected the van but signed a doc which CSC sent to CRIS. I will ring them tomorrow.
Many of the docs I do have say Pursuit Plus. It leaves Baileys as a Plus and is turned into a Platinum by the dealer Chipping Sodbury Caravans.
Rang CRIS and they say there have been a few problems. They say due to dealers not knowing what to do. However, CRIS have just moved from Aldershot to Chippenham so who knows.
They were very nice and extremely helpful. They registered mine over the phone. It was down as a Pursuit Plus but they changed it to Platinum.
I'm sure if you ring them they will change it for you. I think it is important because some private buyers will be very nervous if everything isn't perfect on the report etc.
Thanks for that navver, we chased CRIS up after 7 weeks by email, didn't hear anything so phoned them and they said it would be done the next day and it would take 2 weeks to arrive, as par for the course they tried to sell us some sort of add on. We felt the same about the details not matching that's why we asked you what your document said.
We will be getting ours changed now. Thanks again.
