We have a Dometic B2200, a slightly older model than the Freshjet but very similar.
We also have a Sterling Searcher 2008 model.
The Dometic is fitted in the small rooflight opening, this previously housed an Omnivent, which we had moved to the bathroom.
The weight is 32kg, it comes with a remote control.
Ours was fitted as a dealer option and cost £1200, they are more now.
There is nothing much to service on them, just a bit of cleaning when required.
Unfortunately ours somehow lost its refrigerant in 2012 and we discovered there are few places you can get them re-gassed, and none in UK. Eventually Dometic replaced it free of charge in 2013.
It works very well, we leave it on low to keep the van cool all day, and as we don't caravan in high summer, we find we do not need it on overnight.
Cannot hear it outside, louder inside the van, especially when the compressor starts up, but you do get used to it.
