Bought a caravan yesterday and had a look for advice on here regarding painting the walls. Is anyone will to show me some pictures of it done successfully and or any other tips? We are also going to replace sofa, table and cupboard doors in kitchen so any other tips would be great.
A good job can be made with a roller and a silk gloss.
After washing the walls down with sugar soap to remove grease etc, just apply with a foam roller.

If the caravan is modified away from its original strcuture and is to be towed on any road in the UK, it may have to have a compliance certificate so that it si covered by the third party insurance on your car. In addition, you will not be able to insure it. Don't forget that it is the furniture inside that holds the caravan together and gives it the strenght.
I painted the ceiling and walls of my caravan with Dulux emulsion. I covered the doors in some funky fablon and made new curtains.
I also had to replace all the foam seating as it was the original and a) wasn't fire retardant and b) had lost all its support. I made some simple envelope covers from some corduroy fabric.
Whole project cost less than £300.
