Try your first trip before you worry about towels drying. We have an end bathroom and hang one on the shower door and one on the clothes hangers in the bathroom, keep the heating vent open and the window open a crack so we don't get too much condensation.

We just tie a length of clothes line across the van between 2 locker doors and let the towels dry, in the summer the same line goes from one end to the other of the porch and does the same job.
We have two "over the door hooks" that we put on the bathroom door and find that with having the Heating on at some point in the day the towels dry fine.
Use sponge to remove excess water from body then towel dry, problem solved.

Blown air heating on all the time in the bathroom with the window on the catch then towels go straight on the rail after use.Dry in no time and bathroom always toasty warm.
We just have a lightweight foldable airer we stand it on our fixed bed with the towels on and whilst we are out they dry even with heating on very low.
Our Unicorn has Alde wet heating with a bathroom radiator, we hang them on the hooks and close the door, sorted!
We usually leave the roof vent open a little to prevent condensation.
We also have a folding airer which we can put in the main body of the van or awning if the sun is out!
