Hi all..

We're still relatively new to the caravan world, having been tenters for the last 4 years. We've been on one trip in our van so far and have decide to take the plunge and get a 4wd motor mover fitted.

Hubby is concerned about how and where to jack it up to fit the AlKo wheel locks and obviously level it out.

Can you experts out there help and offer some guidance..

Not seen the lock and level before, very impressed until I saw the price... I've only a single axle, but seems a bit pricey to me!

Hmmm. Perhaps some of you with twin axles can explain. I used to have a hitch post on my single axle van when I stored it on the drive. When it came to putting the wheel lock on, I had to use a jack to rotate the wheel. However, when you jack up a wheel it rotates as it leaves the ground due to the suspension. I found it very difficult to gauge where to drop the wheel down so that everything lined up, or do people simply not worry, put the lock on and not think of the strain one is putting on the lock and the somewhat flimsy lock plate behind?
