I want a Dorema awning. Their website tells you to measure using a piece of string from the ground, up around the awning rail and back down to the ground again. This will give the measurement required. I have done this several times and the best I can get is 1020.

Same as you John, so confusing!! No way am I prepared to spend so much money and chance getting it wrong, so for now I will stick with the porch awning.


Dorema have a size 15 (1000-1025) or size 16 (1025-1050).
I have asked different dealers what I need as the book says 1025, so the smaller or the larger of the two.
Two dealers said the smaller two said the bigger and one dealer is calling Dorema tech support to find out.

I called Dorema myself and told him how I measured and I dont get to 1025. The assistant said I never would and he insisted I go for the bigger size (1025-1050) as you need to allow for the splay, but it doesnt say this on the website.

So confusing.
