Hi this is my first post for quite a long time, we recently purchased a swift charisma 550, this was an upgrade from a Pennine fiesta folding camper, Im trying to find out if a Fiamma awning of 3m plus will fit a swift charisma 550, I'm unsure as the top rail drops around the door area, I've done a bit of googling but found nothing.
Thanks in advance.
Mark
Before changing to a motorhome we had a Swift Charisa 550 dealer special. We had a 3.6mts Fiamma on that van. I think that was the largest it would take. We found the it would take the awning bead down into that downward curve of the awning rail by about six inches.
Welcome to the vanside, we have a pen nine too previously which was great but the van is soooo much better !
Anyhow not sure how much help this will be but we have a Bailey pursuit 540-5 and have a 4.1m fiamma on ours and fits easily so a 3m I would say is a no brainier will easily go on.

Is it possible to erect these type of awnings on your own or do you need two people?
Compared to when we had a smaller version we found it a two man job to put away. However taller/fitter people might be able to manage. We took two steps with us so that we could both roll it up from each end.
