Looking into getting my first caravan, it will be 2nd hand. Folding caravans tick quite a few boxes but I'd sooner have fiberglass for the easier maintenance. Recently come across a firm that say their folding caravans have a fiberglass roof. I have asked about the sides and floor. I was wondering if anyone on here has a folding caravan and your experience of damp ingress and repair.
Thanks
Gobur are the tops but very expensive. They have a GRP roof which covers the tops of the walls so should keep the water out.
There are many really old ones about which are still going strong.
There aren't many GRP caravans now. Freedom are but they are very small. Our new Bailey Pursuit has a GRP skin on the inside and outside, the inside of the walls being a composite panel without timber.
