I had one some years ago but it went with our last caravan. It worked just fine. I did over-tighten it once when locking the rollers onto the tyres. This broke a pin. They came quickly and fixed it on my drive without charge.

I have one, also broke one of the shear pins but luckily had a spare. Not managed to get another yet but to be honest haven't tried too hard. This is the second van its been on, changed it over to the Charisma as the dealer wouldn't give me any allowance for it. Cant say I have been over impressed with the mover its been a bit hit and miss at times. I basically only need the mover to turn the van in the driveway and to hitch up to the car and very seldom at any other time, so it works for me. If you feel you may need one that will need to work harder than the occasional use I would look around a bit.
------------- Just saying
If all is not lost where is it then?
Well I got the rhyno for the last 7 years its on me second caravan now. Never let me down if they did I would never get me van out of storage, keep thinking what the life span of these movers, but I know for certain if they went I be ringing them up for them to sort them out. Extremely satisfied customer

Unfortunately, my experience with Rhyno hasn't been so great. It won't pull in a straight line and often struggles to pull at all, I got the model recommended by the company for my 'van but it seems drastically underpowered. Also managed to lose the remote and they charged me 125.00 to replace it. Replacement came with no instructions on how to pair with the unit. In fairness I've not called them out to check the performance (or lack of it) and just make do with not using it. Bit of a white elephant in all honesty.

Did you fit it yourself or did they fit it? Did you call them out to rectify the problem? It is hardly their fault that the remote was lost, btu I am surprised they didn't give you some support when asked for.

Hi Brian,
They came out and fitted (I'm probably the worst DIYer on the planet!!) and as I said in my OP, in all fairness to Rhyno I haven't called them out to rectify. I only spend 3 weeks in the country out of every 4 months so whenever I'm home my time is pretty fully booked. I'm fully aware that the loss of the RC was my own daft fault and I don't think I intimated otherwise, however a ton and a quarter for a new one is a bit steep and I don't think it's unreasonable to expect pairing instructions with it. Still we live and learn eh?!!
