We got a new to us caravan last year it had been cleaned but roof was bad not been done we have been up and wiped it with soapy water. We didnt do much to.it as the awning was, up when we noticed it and as its a seasonal pitch couldnt do.much till awning came down Anyone vit any ideas as roof has lots,of algea on can you spray it with something then clean next day ilor would thT da age the oaintwork. Thanks

The ideal caravan cleaner that I use to remove stubborn algae is Fenwick's Caravan Cleaner which is diluted with cold water. You can use a bucket and a long brush or a apply with a spray gun and work the solution in wirth a soft paint brush. Just rinse off with a cold water and job done.

Fenwick's Caravan Cleaner in warm water. Done mine today . took me 4hrs just to clean the roof. Tomorrow I will polish the roof then clean the rest of the caravan.

I have also just cleaned my caravan including the roof, using Fenwicks Caravan Cleaner.
I also add a couple of capfuls of Fenwicks Bobby Dazzler into the same water as the cleaner.

It took me about 1 1/2 hours to do the lot. Probably because I clean it on returning from every trip, so no real build up of algea on the roof just some light suface stuff and we are surrounded by trees.

I use a large step ladder and extending brush and I find very little elbow grease is required. I find a little cleaning often works for me.

I do have the caravan parked at home which makes it easier, not so easy if in storage though.

I use Showroom shine, bit more fiddly but it stops all the muck running down the sides of the van. I'm quite short so do the two sides up a ladder and then down the middle through the sky lights.
We are on a seasonal pitch so I have just done one side today, will do a bit more another day.

Thanks off to get some Fenwick caravan cleaner as we are near prestons caravans and just phoned they have some so not too far to go . Thanks guys ...... Anyone want to come and clean it now lol 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Step ladder, extending car cleaning type brush, car wash and wax*...

And a bit elbow grease an time...

*We used wash and wax the first time, then Fenwicks every time after that.

Our last caravan sounded like yours, but after cleaning, we discovered the CRIS reg number in big letters on the roof too....
