Yes, in order to get the height for the jack to go under the axle and may be able to remove the road wheel with the puncture but difficult to get the spare on as you need the extra height.

I suggest you try it out on your caravan with your ramp. With one wheel on ramp, other wheel needs to be clear of ground otherwise you won't get inflated spare back on.
Sounds like a plan, jacks are heavy this seems like the way to go. Will try it out, I have a pair of thule ramps and they may not be tall enough. Could always put plank of wood under it.
The ramp in the video looks like it is the "trailer aid", and seems to be available on ebay.
