Does anyone know of any awning erectors services in wales we OK for this year but looking for next year, both myself and partner have ill health so would need someone to erect it
if you explain your circumstances to the site owners, they may arrange assistance for you, especilly if it's a large site, plus caravanners are normally very helpful in that respect and I'm sure they would muck in.

+1. I'm sure either the wardens or other site users would help out
I would have no problem whatsoever in putting your awning up on your behalf, as I imagine most other caravanners would say the same too.
You could always mention to site owners/wardens when making booking so that way they could spare a pair of hands to help on your arrival.
------------- February - Blakemere Touring Cheshire
April - Lakeland Haven
May - Sandimouth. Bude
August - Ninham Holidays. I.O.W
August - Windy Harbour. Blackpool
October - Callow tops. Ashbourne

Would an 'air' awning be better for you, or would you still have problems threading it through the awning rail? We looked at some today as I find the awning difficult due to arthritis. Liked them forcease of putting up but the prices were rather off putting.
As others have said other caravanners are usually more than willing to help.
We have a new to us a Dorema Toronto Porch Awning it comes with instructions easy set up .
But a different awning to last year and it will be our first time up .
i am hoping someone will help me

I'm very near Porthcawl and would certainly help if you're in the area, as everyone else has said I'm sure you'd find plenty offers of help on site. Yesterday I helped another caravanner sort out 'hook up' problems, and in the past have even been a runner for car parts, (Wife not impressed whilst on 'holiday')
Almost every site I have been on has someone who helps out around the place, whether it's cutting grass, taking bins out etc.
They would be more than willing to do it for the usual fee!
You need to phone in advance and explain. Certain they won't turn you away.
There is also taking it down and packing.
Only worry might be if it gets damaged.
