Can I have recommendations for getting rid of fine scratches on our caravan windows please.

Hi,

After we collected our new van I noticed a window had a scratch, the dealer sent a bottle of white cleaner that removed the scratch straight away.

Fenwicks do a product "Fenwicks Windowize Scratch Remover" try this on Amazon it's only £3.99.

I have used Tcut in the past to remove a scratch but only use light pressure, also used Fenwicks mentioned.

Best to use a product specifically designed for use on our windows, as per the second post. Some chemicals can set off crazing of the plastic. I once had an apparently innocuous owners club cling type roundel that did this

I have used Brasso with good results but it takes some elbow grease as well to take the scratches out.

Have used the Brasso as well Jeff, we used these products before specific cleaners were on the market and they still do the job but as has been said some others are not suitable. Thats where 40+ years of caravanning comes in handy with using different products.

At the caravan show we asked the auto glym dealer and he gave us the right stuff. It was the resin cleaner and something else. But not sure what as it's in the caravan. I can look when I go at the weekend.

Fenwick stuff is good.I think they do a kit for deeper scratches too.
