Best to use a product specifically designed for use on our windows, as per the second post. Some chemicals can set off crazing of the plastic. I once had an apparently innocuous owners club cling type roundel that did this

Have used the Brasso as well Jeff, we used these products before specific cleaners were on the market and they still do the job but as has been said some others are not suitable. Thats where 40+ years of caravanning comes in handy with using different products.

At the caravan show we asked the auto glym dealer and he gave us the right stuff. It was the resin cleaner and something else. But not sure what as it's in the caravan. I can look when I go at the weekend.
