Hi just wondering if anybody can confirm windows seal size,let have measured it at 40mm,any help greatly appreciated thanks.

I can't remember when I last saw an Abbey Piper on site so I don't think there are that many around these days and of course they could all be away for the weekend.

I'm not sure which bit you are measuring but 40 mm sounds quite big. Seals Direct do seals for up to 35 mm panels so it may be worth checking their website to see what they have to offer.

Leisureshop Direct do trim for wall thicknesses of 39 and 40 mm so perhaps you need 39 mm rather than 40. Trying to measure this sort of thing is never easy especially if the part has stretched or weathered making it even harder.

Many thanks Rob . Basically what I was hoping for was a little input from members of the forum that has replaced these seals on a abbey piper.I don't want to make a mistake when I order.I have resealed all front windows using existing rubber seal with sikaflex when I rebuilt front of van due to damp issues about 4 yrs ago .At the moment I have a cracked front nearside windows that I need to replace (already bought secondhand on ebay £55) .This time I need to fit new rubbers.many thanks again Adrian

I have an abbey piper 15/5ex, i replaced my frt window seals last year, from memory im sure the seals were 27mm thick, as youbtake the seal off and measurebthe wall thickness. There were 2 types of seal with that thickness, one with a 14mm bulb and one with a 10mm bulb, again you will need to measure which style you have. If you log onto sealsdirect website youl see a diagram which will help you out
