We have A Bailey Pegasus Bologna 2014, we love the van but the space between the bed and wardrobe is not very wide. Sometimes it be a bit awkward getting into the wardrobe. Well a sales men with the same van told us to get some unicorn 3 wardrobe hinges and replace these with the original ones. The unicorn 3 hinges available from the Bailey website open flat against the wall making access to the wardrobe a lot easier. The difference it has made is really good. Just thought it was a tip worth sharing if like my wife you spend a great deal of time opening and shutting a wardrobe door.
Hi
Yes this is the correct part, it does make a difference to the wardrobe. Another tip he gave me was the take the bedroom curtain off and place it on the wall opposite next to the fridge. I have not done this yet, but I can see his point. You do tend to knock it when you are going though past the bed.
great thank you. Not having access to our van at the moment ( in storage ) do you know how many I need? is it 4 or 6? can't recall how many hinges per door
Check the price of the hinges at the likes of B&Q before you order from Bailey Parts, with the postage included B&Q might be cheaper. I changed the hinges on my last Unicorn after the same tip on another forum and that's where I got mine. They werent on the Bailey Parts site at that time
I bought 6, this will do both doors, but it is only the right hand door which will open flat against the wardrobe. The postage from Bailey is expensive 5 pounds. It cost me just over 12 pounds including postage. But I think its worth it.
