Hey Peter,

Thanks for the offer that would be great if it's the same plates as I need.

Here's a picture of the Snakemaster stabiliser that I have.

Here is the car plate that i need and either one of the plates depending on if i'm drilling it or clamping it as Opensauce advised that i would be better clamping it but can buy the extra plate needed for that if you have the drilling plate if that makes sense.

Happy to come to yours on Thursday Peter, you can let me know if the pics match up or not.

Thanks

Brian

Hey Peter,

Don't worry about it mate I'm not in a rush really, need to find a big enough socket to take the tow balls bolts and nuts off

Wonder why the pics never worked? would be easier if you paste pics instead of links.

Cheers

Brian

Peter you may be a godsend lol I've got sockets as well but from measuring the bolts yesterday looks like i'm needing somewhere between a 24mm and a 26mm socket, bloody typical I have upto 22mm.

Don't suppose you know anything about caravan electrics do you lol

Cheers

Brian, typical of me , I don't have the plates anymore sorry, I do have a tow ball and back plate and a bulldog stabilizer with the fitting for a swan neck tow bar. I'll sourse the other bits for you if you want.
What's wrong with your electrics? I'm no expert unless it's fuses then I suspect water ingress to the sockets easy fix mate , New sockets and cut the wire back and prefix. Happy to help you mate.

Hey Peter,

That isn't a problem mate about the plates etc

Cheers for sourcing the plates for me will get them ordered the morns.

I had to renew the whole front end 2 years ago. The walls, floor, window frames the work's had to be renewed, and everything was unwired to get the work done. I reckon i've wired something up wrongly when it all went back together again, as you can only have so many things plugged in before it blows a fuse, even just using the sparker for the cooker was blowing it.

Did put a socket tester into the sockets to check and it was telling me something was wrong but no idea what and how to fix it lol Ended up buying a shed load of fuses instead of trying to fix it lol

Cheers

Brian

Once you have the plates give me a shout, I'll get the wiring diagram for the black and white sockets and the main inlet, probably a wire in the wrong place. I'm off Monday and Tuesday next week then the week after the whole week off.
Don't know how to pm you on here or would send my number. My Mrs works in boots green st but is off for next 2 weeks. Thinking about it am up your way tomorrow at the vets if your off work?

Cheers
Peter

Hey Peter,

I think the Black and white sockets(connected to the car) are fine it's the internal wiring that iv'e fecked up somehow lol.

Unfortunately not about the morns or monday but if ok with you the week that your off would be great and gives me enough time to get the plates etc, if thats ok with you that is.

Is your wife working today or tomorrow as I can hand my number, email etc into her at the chemist if that's ok.

Cheers

Brian
