Hi again. Thanks but we live right on the south coast so that is a bit of a trek. I would pop it on Gumtree and preloved as both are free and this is the best time to sell.
Regards
Keith

We have a Towsure Portico Square porch awning for our Xplore 304 and it looks as if it was made to measure ie you can fully open the door and the side fits between the kitchen window and the lounge window.

I have an Xplore 304 (great little van) and I have the one of the Daytona awnings (cant remember which one).

Its not that tricky to put up, the hardest part is feeding the awning through the slot on the side of the van. After that its possible to put the poles in by yourself, though again, its best and quicker with two people.

One piece of advice, when your putting the pole in, keep a good tight grip of them. When I first put my awning up I let go of one of the poles that connects to the side of the van, the end result is a small dent in the side of the van (barely noticeable)

Another piece of advice, if you can go for the light poles, do. I went for the steel poles (to save a bit of cash) and I didn't think they would be as heavy as they are in the bag.

at Trevor Holloway

Is this the porch awning you have?

https://www.towsure.com/portico-air-220-porch-awning

Its just that I'm looking for a porch awning (putting up a full awning for just a week is a waste) and I would prefer to get one I know will fit nicely.

on a different topic, but still with the 304, does yours have a join/seam in the body just under the front window, above the locker?
Ours does, seems a little strange.
Its a 2015.

Hi. I eventually opted for a Kampa Rally Pro 260 which is the absolute max size porch style awning that the 304 can take. I don't want a full awning and the 260 is big enough for 4 to get round a table if it rains.
The only downside is that it cuts across the side window but I have the storm poles so it's not a problem. A 220 awning should fit without obscuring the window (just!).
