We have a 1 year old Coachman 565 VIP. This is our first trip out this season and the electric hob trips the isolation switch immediately we switch the hob on. We are connected to mains electric and the mains doesn't trip and seems ok.

If it is the RCD that trips it is possibly caused by damp if it hasnt been used for some time,if not you may have a faulty element.

I agree with 'saxo1' as well but as the caravan is only a year old isn't it covered by the warranty to have it checked out and repaired?
