Hi all
I am going to order one of the new 2016 model Cadac Safari Chef barbecues and was looking to utilise the external gas point on my caravan (Elddis Crusader).
Can anyone tell me if it comes with the fitting needed to connect it to the caravan connector under the external flap?
Also will I be able to connect to the can without needing a separate regulator?
Thanks
You will need one of these, probably most caravan accessory shops will have one. Then straight into external gas connection and turn the tap on, sorted.
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
Depends on the fitting on your caravan, our Pennine had one like Blueexpo shows, but the caravan has one like this Click Here
You should not need another regulator if using the on board connector.
This is the connector for the hoseClick Again
Check what your van has.

I went to change a gas bottle for our ailing barby a few weeks ago....came out with a cadac grill of sorts. Cant recall its actual name, but it has a hotplate and a griddle plate, and its a belter. Cooks everything really well apart from sausages for some reason. We like them well browned, but it struggles. The main plus, is that i can use it in the awning when its wet, as theres no smoke and no coals.
Hi Dave11, we have a Elddis Affinity 2016 and have just been today and bought the connector that Blueexpo97 has mentioned so I assume this will fit yours too.
