6meters between wall of adjoining caravan 3 metres between awning and next door car or awning, 6 Meters if back to back or 3 Meters if diagonally opposed, forward or backwards makes no difference to me😁

Is this not the issue the CC had for years not considered an awning to be part of a "habitable space" and allowing them to be only 3 metres away?
I think we will find that a couple of years ago they or their underwritters realised that in any serious incident litigation, that view might not be upheld. So now the awning is not treated any different to the more obvious caravan or motorhome in that the face to face separation should not be under 6 metres. People could well fall asleep in an awning or it could be used in part as a bedroom.
All that aside, we find the cramming in of units on CC sites is a very big turn-off to using them after years ago finding 5 van sites with plenty of space much more our type of caravanning.
