Our Lunar Clubman 2016 has cracks on the back panel, and we are waiting for replacement under warranty, so it seems no company is exempt. These were picked up on 2nd service, I'm too short to have noticed, so I'm thankful that we had a vigilant service engineer. Hopefully it will fixed soon.
Anyone who has done some DIY on lockers and woodwork will know that the fitters don't drill pilot holes, however thin the wood is they will be screwing into. This leads to splits, creaks and screws falling out.
Same approach with these ABS panels methinks.

Thank you for the information. Lunar are another make I was interested in. Part exchanged Pastiche for a vip. Still waiting for Pastiche to be repaired.😕

A couple of cases like this have been reported on the Swift Talk forum. If your caravan has full service history all serviced on time to Swift schedules they will replace the back panel FOC.

Twin axles I imagine get a smoother ride on the roads so perhaps less cracks thus less damp. Anyone with twin axles had cracks and damp?
Yes we had cracks in panels on delivery of twin axle 2016 caravan. Panels replaced and cracks again after one trip of about 500 miles!
This is a well known problem and although the manufacturer may reject the warranty claim, under Sale of Goods Act and Consumer Rights Act 2015 it is up to the dealer to replace at their cost!
