Hi everyone,

We have a much loved 2005 Swift caravan but the front outside panel is dull and the decals are faded.

Do you have any recommendations of products to use that will help bring back the shine?

Thanks in advance

I've used 3m fiberglass restorer and it works a treat. I've also used it on the blue decals but only VERY lightly - they came up like new.

Did you do it by hand or use an orbital buffer?

Did all of it by hand - it took a while but was worth it. You may need to go over it a couple of times. If you use an orbital buffer you must be very careful not to cut through too far.
Certainly don't go near the decals with an orbital buffer, they must be done by hand with only very light pressure.

I should add that when doing the decals, I tested it in a less-conspicuous area first just to see if it would work ok.

Once you've got it clean and shiny, use Fenwicks caravan cleaner and Bobby Dazzler, they are made for the job and really keep my van shiny.

Or you could use any car wash n wax followed by CarPlan Demon Shine, does the same as the expensive Bobby Dazzler.
