Hi,I'm new to the site and looking for some please, we have just bought a Bailey Pageant Champagne Series 6 2007, went away this B/H and used the heating, everything was fine Saturday night and Sunday morning but then noticed that the green light was off on the thermostat, we had it set on 2kw. After reading several posts about the ultraheat I want to find out if it's the fuse in the power socket of which I can't get out, or if it's the pcb relays that are the problem, any help would be greatly appreciated before our next outing.
Thanks.
Welcome to the forum, I'm pretty sure we can get you sorted. Why can't you get the fuse out? Is it because it has been arcing and kinda welded itself into the holder?
It sounds to me that it needs investigating as that may well be the root cause of your problem. A common fault I believe.

Hi Dave and thanks, not sure about the fuse arcing and melting but sounds a possibility, normally you can just get a screwdriver in and prise it out can't you but there's no chance with this one, if it's not the fuse in this switch socket and it's something to do with the relays, do you know where they are on this model ? Going back to this fuse holder, I've prised the centre of it out to see that there is no fuse in it ???
I have a Truma Rapid water heater in our Bailey which we normally run on EHU. However, last week we ran it on gas with no problems, until the water ran out, then the gas heater cut out. The water was replenished and an attempt made to re-light the heater to no avail. Gas solenoid clicked open, green light came on, then red light after 10 secs. Reading the manual, it says to leave for 5 mins then try again. Left it for 30 mins and retried several times over the weekend, but still no joy. Anyone any ideas please?
Hi Owdskemmer and welcome to the forum. It sounds to me like an overtemp switch has popped. They normally reset as they cool down, hence the advice in the manual. It could be that it has failed.

Thanks PO, a PMA has got me through life nicely, and as you say really brasses people off, but I think this time I'll have to put my hand in my pocket.
When using on Gas, l take it that you have removed the dust cover from the outer heater vent? This is a common user fault on the Truma units and something new users often fail to do, they wont work on gas whilst this cover is fitted.
I have no wish to' teach granny to suck eggs' here but thought this might help.
