We have a new bradcot awning which is 930 size. We have just got a van which states a 945 is needed . Would the 930 go on ok and what issues would we have?

Thank you
Ian

15cm = 6" quite a difference, I'd try it for size.

I don't think it will be long enough but as Softguy has said try it out.
We had our awning extended by Trio pair in Pontefract, even if you have to send it to them by courier it will be cheaper than having to buy a new one.

Thanks I assume the 6" splits 3" at each side? Which could be taken up by having the bits that normally tuck under ground sheet slightly higher?

Cheers
Ian

The awning will fit but if the ground slopes away from the caravan (awning side) then the gap gets bigger which the pegging ladders won't reach the ground. The poles can be lowered accordingly but then you get sagging on the material which can result in pooling of rain water on the roof in heavy down pours.
The best thing is to try it first but it's always best to go the right size or very slightly bigger for the above reason which you can always use the wheel ramps to gain extra height if you need it.
