Hi All, we are new to caravanning and have bought a 1990 Abbey GT516 for our first adventures 😊
All is good except we can't get water from the internal tank to the taps. We know the pump works as we tested it straight from the battery and we know there is power coming from the rocker switch and we know all the fuses on the main control panel are good! Any ideas please? And does anyone know whether there is a hidden fuse somewhere between the switch and the pump? Thanks in advance!

Have you had all the taps open while pumping to eliminate air locks?
Takes a good while to pump air out before water comes.
Also the water heater tank needs time to fill. You won't get water immediately first time.
Include shower taps and WHB.
Can you hear the pump running? If so, you have no fuse problem.

If there's an inline water filter, try removing it if above does not work. Might be clogged up

Don't know if it applies to your caravan but I think it's important that the water heater switch is turned OFF until the heater is filled with water.

😀
Was it just the pressure switch you adjusted? Or combination of things?

Overall it was a combination of things but the final thing was the pressure. The propeller in the pump was stuck initially but a poke with a screwdriver sorted that! Then checked all the fuses and tested for power being where it should! Once we'd done all that we tested the pump by attaching it directly to the car battery and it worked but still no water which is when we got to the pressure bit!
On to the next problem now, the toilet won't flush..............😂😂

I had that problem on my Lunar when it was 2 years old.

Guess what? The pump was seized. A squirt of penetrating fluid and work the impeller back and fore to release it. But the inline fuse inside the cassette box was also gone. Whole box to come out to replace pump. Don't ask me. I didn't DIY that one.
Engineer replaced pump but gave me back the stuck one. I now have a spare.

Lol the pump needed the screwdriver treatment like the other one and tested that on the car battery and it works, the fuse in the cassette is ok. It looks as though water has got into the wiring somewhere so probably a bigger job 😩
