I have a Crystal 3 water pump on my Elddis Hurricane EX 2000, well anyway arrived on site today, filled water barrel up and dropped in pump as I normally do and then connected it to van. Inside water in cold tap in kitchen but how water tank filled up and water from hot tap, also cold water in bathroom tap. Thought there might be airlock, diced to drain everything down and start again. Same procedure filled barrel inserted pump and connected, but now I don't have any water from any taps and I can't hear the pump running.
Any ideas please. Thanks

Update, woke up this morning tried taps nothing, left hot water tap open, went back to bed. Suddenly about 15 mins later heard a gurgling noise and realised hot water tank was filling, and I now have water from hot water tap, however no water from cold tap unless I run the bathroom tap then cold water comes out of the cold tap in the kitchen.

Sounds as if a microswitch has gone if the system is not pressurized. When you turn on the taps listen to see if you can hear a "Click"the tap that doesent "Click" is your problem.
Not a hard job to fix just take off the tap and you will see the switch below.

Thanks Jeff, I did wonder if it was that, not an easy job removing the taps will look at it when I get back home.

I agree with Jeff. Microswitch gone. If they are whale taps they are easy to replace, but some other taps are not so.
If its possible to get at the wiring from one of the faulty taps, buy a cheap push button and bypass the tap microswitch until you get home. A doorbell pushbutton will do.
------------- Best Regards,
Colin

Hi Colin. yes I'm sure its a Whale Elegance tap, but I'm only on site until Tuesday, so it can wait until I get home and at least I do have hot water.

Bit of an update, couldn't be bothered to change the micro switch, just bought a new caravan instead...lol. Wasn't intentional, only went to look at some, saw an 2009 Abbey Vogue 460, 2 berth, in immaculate condition and at a price I couldn't turn down, collect it in a fortnights time.
