I just bought a 1973 Sprite Musketeer caravan. I live in the US and I'm assuming it was made here while the company manufactured here in the 70's; also because it has a mirrored layout from any UK model.
I can't seem to find ANY VIN on the caravan either near the door or on the towing tongue. All there is is an emblem from the Recreational Vehicle Institute with a 7-digit serial number. There are also a lot of different numbers on the tow hitch area as well as "1973" on the hitch ball itself.
Can anyone tell me where else a VIN might be hidden or any other info you may have about this caravan?

If you email Swift Caravans UK im sure they might help you
As this was made by them.
The Sprite name was owned by Caravans International (CI)back in 1973 and had nothing to do with Swift, who acquired the name much later.
Vans of that vintage usually had a plate attached to the A frame, not necessarily near the hitch. As A frame fairings came in, the plate remained where it was,so sometimes partially obscured by the fairing, so need to look carefully.
As well is two words!
