Been trying to get an annex for my isabella awning, for my 12 year old to sleep in .
The isabella ones are lovely but pricy !
Are the universal ones any good ?
I have been looking at the towsure ones ?
Any advice from people who have used them, would be helpful.

They are not universal because not only could the zip fasteners differ but it also depends on the width of the awning. Some zip all round (3 metre wide) and the narrower awning (2.4 metre wide) only zip up one side and across the top.

Hi there. There seems to be a lot of thoughts on the universal annex. First they do not zip on they fix to your awning frame with Velcro/straps and an extra pole ect depending on the make,and the main thing people are saying on various caravan forums is the fitting.We use ours (Outdoor revolution) on our awning and we have had no trouble with it wind rain or shine but they may well fit various awning brands differently (tension /width/height ect ect). That said our friends have a brand specific zip on annex and i have to say it looks better and feels secure compared to ours but needs must and we couldn't justify spending that sort of money ..Regards Simon.

I would love a zip in one, but as has been said the price is quite hefty !
Have been looking at the Universal ones on the towesure website and they look fairly good.
Just wanted to see if anyone had used the "universal" types and what they were like?
I realise that they will not be as good as the zip in annex but look ok for around £100.

Can anyone advise if a universal annex is ok to use with the carbon poles i have on my isabella capri ?
I have read that the universal annexes are more suited to steel poles ?

Someone, on another forum, recommended the smaller annexe, as the he reckoned the taller one needed steel poles and was a faff to put up. In fact he reckoned it took as long to put up as the full awning.

I'm looking at something like the outdoor revolution or the blue diamond universal annex , would prefer a proper Isabella annex but finding one at a sensible price is proving difficult!
