Hi, has anyone have any suggestions as to the best way to sell my 2012 Adria Adora 612 . The problem is, I live behind Oxford Street I. London and there is no where near I can "show" it.
I keep it in store at one of the Caravan and Camping club sites but it is a good hour and a half drive from my home. The club are reluctant to show people into the caravan and I don't want to spend days driving backwards and forwards on the chance I may or may not get a sale. Also the storage compound is not the nicest place to view a caravan as the vans are stored very closely together. I would really welcome some advice.
One other question, does anyone know if dealers will sell for you and take a commission?
Hmm ? Do you have a family member or a good friend who would be willing to site it in their drive for viewing ? Your other problem is power to the van as potential buyers will most probably want to see everything working.
Dealers do sell on commission.

Not sure re your area but there are dealers out there who will sell on your behalf. We have on in Alcester, Broad Lane Leisure who will keep it in their yard and sell it for you charging a fee for doing so. They arrange the warranty and finance if required for the new purchaser.
You could get the van towed out for someone to view. The site we used to store ours would do that into a parking area rather than a pitch.
When I sold our van the first people to view had no idea what they wanted and just wanted to have a look. Annoying.
The next couple bought it. Hopefully with good photos and a very and detailed description, they will know if they want it or not before seeing it. Then if it is as good as you say they will buy. So hopefully not too many trips.
Don't miss the point SMEESH made, it will need power and a fully charged leisure battery particularly if it has a motor mover fitted that will need to be shown working. If I was in your shoes I would speak to a dealer albeit there will be a fee to be paid, good luck though
If you arranged any viewings on a particular weekend, you could have the van sited and stay the weekend yourself to conduct viewings and demonstrate all appliances. Otherwise a commission sale by a dealer seems to be your only other option.
Very many thanks to everyone for responding. On balance I think I am going to look for a dealer in the South East or Northants area who will sell it for me on commission. If anyone has any ideas I would be grateful to read them.
